New D & B version of Lightning Head now available!
After tearing it up at the Latin Grammy awards in Las Vegas recently the Zoundcolector & Ku remix of "Preguntas Por Que" is now available, featuring fellow Venezuelan MC Blanquito Man (King Chango, Up Bustle & Out, Bigmama Productions) with a vocal that references Speedy Gonzales & Eek-A-Mouse. THE DON REISSUED
Lightning Head's first album "Studio Don" (originally released on Best Seven/Sonar Kollektiv) gets a welcome re-release on Lion Head together with bonus tracks including the previously- unreleased Lightning Head remix of Me and Me Princess and an extended version of Superfunky Bird. AIRGOOSE IS BACK!!
Fans of obscure mid-90s electronica covertly-produced by slightly less obscure Brummie dubsters ROCKERS HI FI may like to check out their first secret techno track, the once-infamous "orange record" produced under the name AIRGOOSE on DNG Records. Complete with dentist-drill solo, much squelchiness and their characteristic analogue warmth, it sounds nothing like a Rockers track but still has enough energy to get you on your feet, even if it's fourteen years old this year!
